What is Wrong bishop in chess?
A bishop that cannot control the pawn's promotion square, turning a winning position into a draw.
Bishop-and-rook-pawn versus lone king is a draw when the bishop does not control the promotion square. The defending king sits in the corner (on the same colour as the promotion square) and cannot be dislodged because the bishop is powerless there.
