What is Minority attack in chess?
Advancing fewer pawns to break up a larger enemy pawn group and create a weakness.
The classic minority attack sends two queenside pawns against three enemy pawns to force the creation of an isolated or backward pawn. It is a key strategy in positions with symmetrical pawn structures.
